Fractal Analysis of the Bone Marrow in Refractory Anemia and Acute Leukemia

Fractal geometry analysis of bone marrow tissue in hyperplasia, in refractory anemia and in acute leukemia was performed. Fractal dimension resulted statistically increased repect to normal condition in refractory anemia. In acute leukemia fractal dimension resulted superimposable with the topological dimension, showing that the fractal structure was completely lost
