ON SPECTRAL DECOMPOSITIONS OF FUNCTIONS IN $H_p^{\alpha}$

The paper is devoted to a study of the spectral resolutions and their Riesz means , corresponding to selfadjoint extensions of elliptic differential operators of order in an -dimensional domain . It is proved that if belongs to the Nikol'skiĭ class and has compact support in , then for , , and the Riesz means converge for to uniformly on each compact set . Bibliography: 9 titles.
