Optimal Random Dither Quantizers for Positive Systems

Abstract This paper addresses the problem of finding an optimal random dither quantizer for quantized control of positive systems. We show that the random dither quantizer with a uniform distribution is optimal and demonstrate it by a numerical simulation.
