A category theory approach to phytometric system conceptual modeling

Research on phytometric system of virtual plant has turned to a complex project of interdisciplinary fusion from being predominated by computer science only. During conceptual modeling for such a system, problems of requirement elicitation difficulties and inconsistency are usually incurred. In this study, the computer visual modeling of plant morphology is adopted as the research object, and together with the category theory as a formalized mathematical tool of modeling to explore a set of conceptual modeling methods and tools in a unified form specific to such a phytometric system.
