In Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) various routing protocols are proposed. These routing protocols achieve good performance under precise environmental conditions like high mobility, less volatile topologies etc. The key issue is to select a better MANET routing protocol on the basis performance and security. In earlier days researchers put their focus of research on the area of implementation and development for solving the different issues in MANET, by developing secure routing algorithm for the mobile nodes. Till today MANET users are waiting for the good secure routing algorithm which should prevent many types of the attacks. Numbers of researchers proposed the number of different techniques and algorithms for security, anomaly detections, routing, secure routing, performance degradation, etc, but no one claim that the proposed scheme is better than others scheme, for solving the different issues in MANET. Security is not just a single layer issue, but it needs to be addressed in a number of layers. After studying many research papers, the conclusion comes out that any single existing routing protocols such as AODV or DSR are not capable of handling different types of attack in MANET. This research is mainly designed to develop a new approach in which the change of routing protocol is possible if routing protocol 1 is not capable of handling the attack in routing, and then the routing protocol 2 will try to handle the attack according to the network context.
