Characterization of breast tumors using selected laws' mask texture features

The appearance of different tumors on the ultrasound is sometimes highly overlapping due to heterogeneous nature of breast cancer, which makes it difficult for a radiologist to correctly interpret the ultrasound scan, Therefore, to help the radiologists remove this ambiguity, a CAD system design has been proposed in the present work for characterization of different breast tumors using Laws' mask analysis and SSVM classifier.
