Insights that a human eye can offer is no less to a big data. The locations looked at, perhaps can be used for various reasons from medical to marketing. While doing so, it is observed that, accurate data of human eye gaze (gaze data) has problems due to physiological limitations, geometrical limitations and so on. Among the various eye trackers and eye gaze estimation techniques, pupil position based technique has gained greater hype. This again suffers from the issue of physiological variance. To counter this error, calibration has become a de facto prerequisite for such eye tracking systems. In this paper, an effort has been made to map the differences in the various calibration techniques so that, an optimal and intelligent selection of a certain technique can be achieved.
