The rapidly increased in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) demands the need to select the best techniques and strategies to save the energy in WSNs, to hence the life time in WSNs.Which provoke high energy consumption. It is important to conserve the energy and ensure a good transmission in the same time.So in this paper we survey the techniques and methods that are used in WSNs and classified, also we emerged the pros and cons for each method.
