A toll data publishing method using encryption and differential privacy preservation technology

Using encryption is the usual way to publish data. But this approach does not protect privacy effectively. As a new privacy protection algorithm, differential privacy technology is becoming more and more popular and widely researched in recent years because of its strict and provable privacy definition. The paper introduced a toll data publishing method using differential privacy protection combining encryption technology. Differential privacy protection can effectively protect the privacy of the toll data. Considering that toll data applications require retaining part of the data characteristics, we combined encryption technology appropriately to retain the original characteristics of the toll data. Sample data is also proposed to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach. Finally, future research directions of toll data publishing are highlighted.
