An efficient method based on crossover operator for image encryption

Image encryption is a technique used for secured communication. This paper we use Genetic crossover operator based image encryption. First, original images are degenerate into bit planes, then swap the bit planes using multipoint crossover operator. Finally ciphered image is obtained by compound the bit planes of the crossover image. The experiments are conceded out different types of images. Performance of the algorithm precise by the following parameters histogram, entropy, correlation coefficient, net pixel change rate, unified average change intensity. The proposed method gives an enhanced outcome for secure the content of images.
