Survey on web service selection techniques

The applications of web services is emerging to a greater aspects like loosely coupled, reusable, composable, platform independent etc. Although, with the booming endorsement and latency of web services, it becomes more crucial for selecting the most relevant web services that fascinates both users' functional and non-functional requirements. The service selection process is mostly based on QOS requirements and QOS preferences. It deals with personalized service ranking based on QOS requirements and also with different decision strategies. They are mostly dependent on historical data of user queries and also constraint matching rules are enforced. The main analysis of our work is to examine distinct existing approaches and the challenges which are not yet routed is also delivered in this survey work.
