A varied approach to attribute based access model for secure storage in cloud

In today's world of extensive usage of cloud storage, the security of documents to be stored in cloud requires to be made strong, became a nonnegotiable requirement. The attacks on cloud are increasing at a higher rate in this advanced technology era. A secure method for storing the documents in remote storage is highly entertained these days. The model proposed by us aims at effectively utilizing symmetric key encryption and key management techniques for securing cloud data. Encrypted document stored in cloud intended for multiple receivers can be secured using this model. Distribution of key is done using public key cryptosystem. The proposed model is a varied approach to Ciphertext Policy Attribute Based Encryption as the access is provided based on the policy and attributes matching with the policy without incurring high cost pairing operations.
