FFT Algorithm of Complex Exponent Moments and Multi-distorted Invariance Analysis

The original image can be approximatively reconstructed based on the image moments-Complex Exponent Moments (CEMs). A fast and accurate 2D Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm of CEMs is proposed and its multi-distorted invariance is demonstrated and analyzed. Typical English letters, Chinese characters, and common images are decomposition and reconstruction in the MATLAB software platform and the experimental results show that the CEMs being highly concentrated image features have multi-distorted invariance and the fast algorithm can reconstruct the original image and apply to image description and pattern recognition better than traditional algorithm.
