Cloud application integration methodology using enterprise application integration

Cloud computing and its related services have attracted many organisations to switch on to this model in lieu of, or complementing their existing on-premise solutions. However, with Cloud application integration there are still various challenges to provide Cloud integration. This paper provides a brief review of Cloud application integration concepts including Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). A Cloud Application Integration Methodology using EAI is then proposed to counteract the challenges identified. The new components in the methodology include data governance and an agile approach in the Design and Build phases of the methodology. The proposal is validated using a business case scenario and the outputs are discussed and evaluated to determine the validity of the methodology.
