A security engineering of service computing system: A literature review

The dynamic changes in the business world has led to an organization to improve its services to its customers. Efficient and effective services become the organization's goal in making improvements by utilizing Information Technology (IT) on its business process services. The emergence of Service Computing has provided an organizational opportunity to implement IT as a bridge of business problems. It becomes a complex system since many resources involved within and known as a service computing system. Furthermore, the implementation of this service computing system is inseparable from security issues, since this system has a tendency as an open system. It is necessary to understand the stages and framework in identifying, designing, constructing, implementing the security function of service computing system Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) is the core component in service computing system. Therefore, this review will focus on this and the future contribution of this paper later will provide a framework of a security engineering of service computing system as a guidance to build a similar system.
