Synchronization of multilayer networks with stochastic
Switching Layers, Wangli He, Siqi Lv, Chen Peng, Feng Qian · 2017
This paper is concerned with synchronization in a network with two different types of interactions, formulated by multilayer networks. A switching law between the two layers is proposed, which follows a Bernoulli distribution. An appropriate mathematical model is constructed firstly to describe multilayer networks with stochastic switching layers. Then a mean square synchronization criterion is derived, which is followed by an alternative sufficient condition. Comparisons with the existing work are also included. Finally, an example is given to verify the theoretical results.
