Gauss iterated map based RGB image encryption approach

Multimedia data are communicated to different servers over the network. Since the network is public, the data security is highly required Data security is mostly done either by cryptographic technique or chaotic technique. This paper discusses and presents an image encryption and decryption using Gauss iterated map instead of chaotic map. Gauss map uses more control parameters as compared to chaotic map, which enhances the data security. This has been proven by NPCR and UACI values. Also, Gauss map takes lesser time for the encryption and decryption.
