Kishan Verma, Rajendra Kumar Dwivedi · 2017
The network of sensors which are connected in wireless fashion is called Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). WSNs are one of the developing and challenging research field these days. They have a great prospective in environmental sensing, precision agriculture, medical, military areas as well as non-military applications. Wireless sensor networks have lots of attractive applications in the field of information and network technologies. The highly perceptive nature of collected information makes reliability in these special networks a critical concern. Data dissemination, limited battery power and bandwidth limitation for proper functioning of the network is maintained by the routing protocols of the wireless sensor network. Less amount of memory led to high problems for the routing protocols. This paper is presenting an improved efficient and reliable routing protocol for energy efficiency in WSNs which is used to improve the reliability of data transmission without any additional storage, or by modifying size of the packet.
