In today's scenario, the most trending technology that is existing in the society is Internet of Things. The whole concept of IoT attracts and motivates techies to create more exiting applications that makes life easy. The domain that contains the fields where IOT is used is very broad. But the major factor which acts as a limitation for IOT is security. The whole concept of IoT revolves around machine-to-machine communication. Machine captures some data and then performs some sort of analysis on it and finally triggers another machine to perform some action accordingly. The data that these machines capture can be private and highly confidential. Hence the security at each layer of IoT is must as the security breach can lead to severe consequences. For an instance, if the security gets compromised at the very first layer i.e. physical layer, then the whole concepts of IoT puts the privacy of the individuals or organisations about whom data is being captured at stake. So, this paper proposes some feasible, low cost and security boosting methodologies to secure the physical layer of IoT.
