A Probability based Model for Data Leakage Detection using Bigraph
Ishu Gupta, Ashutosh Kumar Singh · 2017
Contemporary business relies on sharing and transferring the information among various stakeholders such as employees, owners (shareholders), creditors and suppliers within or outside the organization. As the shared critical data can be leaked by some malicious entity, the persistency of preventing data misuse is escalated. Severe damage caused by sharing of sensitive information constitutes a grievous threat to the organization's assets. Protection of confidential data from unauthorized revelation is a matter of concern for any enterprise. In this paper, we present an approach for detecting the leakage that are caused advertently or inadvertently by some malicious user. In the proposed model, we represented the allocation and distribution of data objects among the agents using Bigraph. The goal of this model is to preserve and protect the sensitive data by identifying the malicious entity which is responsible for data leakage.
