OVERVIEW:New technology exploitation is defined as the utilization of new technology or scientific developments to improve the performance of products or manufacturing processes. Lying between knowledge creation and the traditional new product development processes, it is an iterative process that requires its own set of management tools. Failure to recognize and manage new technology exploitation projects as such can result in inefficiencies and frustration.
