Deblurring is one of the utmost significant steps in the image analysis. Usually, at the time of image acquisition process, images may corrupted or degraded due to various factors such as blurring, loss of data due to sampling process, environment and sources of noise which results in image degradation. The idea of image restoration is to approximate the original noise-free image from the degraded information. The profit of get better quality of image to the utmost possible level prevails over the difficulty and outlay of the restoration processes being involved. There is a trade-off between a better restoration and less computational cost. This work spotlighted on various image deblurring and restoration techniques for two dimensional natural images.
