Rich-link oriented graph model for improving query performance

The real world is complex network as it's known better to be modeled as a graph model. The relationships of complex network often are formed as a rich and high-order links. A huge relational data model in many domains is needed to be converted to a graph model to get some advantages of this model. We proposed rich-link (RL) oriented graph model to overcome the naïve graph data model by considering the semantics of the real world. We conducted some experiments to compare the performance between the naïve model and RL Model. We investigated that the RL model shows better performances compare to the naive model, especially for complex queries.
