Method for WSN clock synchronization based on optimized SLTP protocol
Alexander K. Alexandrov, Vladimir V. Monov · 2017
The current paper describes a method for adaptive compensation of the deviations in quartz stabilized clocks, embedded in the wireless sensor modules. The method is effective in cases of dynamic change of external temperature, vibration and moisture. The proposed clock synchronization method is based on the SLTP (Scalable Lightweight Time-synchronization Protocol) and uses two-level optimization by the Kalman Filter and Fraser-Potter equation approach as key criteria for dynamic change of the clock synchronization interval.
