This paper presents steganography algorithm implemented on ZedBoard (Zynq 7000 devices) using Vivado HLS tool. Steganography is the skill of hiding information. It is a technique to hide a text file, an image or an executable program inside a cover image without affecting the cover image. In this Vivado is used to create the hardware system and software development kit (SDK) to create an application to verify the hardware functionality. Here steganography is done by embedding the data in the least significant bit (LSB) of edge pixels of cover image. Stego image obtained after embedding the data is similar to cover image. At the end embedding data is retrieved by extracting LSBs from edge pixels of stego image. Thus by using this technique message image cannot be detected by attackers without access to appropriate steganography algorithm. Performance evaluation is measured on the basis of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio and Correlation Coefficient.
