The urban electric bus, a sustainable solution to increase energy efficiency of public transport and reduce atmospheric pollution in the cities

Analyzing the values of public transport systems energy indicators and metropolitan air pollution together with the branch specific economic forecasts, the authorities and suppliers can estimate future trends. To reduce the urban usage of personal automobiles it is needed to increase the proportion of electric public transport vehicles (Tramways, Trolleys, Electric buses), also it needs to increase the urban mobility satisfaction by increasing attractiveness and accessibility of networks, growing essentially the number of trips by public transport, all together can insure us more livable cities.
