Space self-organizing network is a kind of space communication network, which applies self-organizing network to deep space. Future space exploration demands a self-organizing network that will be able to connect spacecrafts with one another and in turn with Earth's terrestrial Internet and hence efficiently transfer data back and forth. The coverage area of the space self-organizing network is large, but multi hop routing-transfer mechanism is a challenging problem. In this paper, the key problems in the research of space self-organizing networks are presented, and the space network routing strategies are analyzed. This paper presents a epidemic model routing that combines the physical operation rules of space objects with the network epidemic model and improves efficiency because of uses of network node's prior knowledge. While, compared with traditional routing, the epidemic model routing has more resource utilization and less energy consumption.
