Fun with programming logic: nifty tools and assignments

Teaching programming logic to new programmers can be challenging. In addition to language syntax, students must develop problem solving and logical thinking skills. One way to make this task more interesting is through programming assignments that are fun, as well as challenging. This presentation explores four such assignments: The Coffee Game, The Dyslexic Bank Teller, The Biology Lab Manager, and Michigan Lotto Picks.
