A steganographic approach to mitigate password attacks

With the advancement in cyber security, attacks on passwords are also becoming advanced and industrial espionage poses one of the greatest danger to business these days. Critical corporate information gets on stake with the password of system falling into wrong hands. With many tools and tables available to break preliminary security levels, stress is laid on multilayered security for storage and communication of enterprise's delicate information. In this paper, we analyse two popular password attacks based on the time needed to crack them. We then propose a solution which uses steganography (text and image) to store the password and user account information which adds additional layers of security.
