A semantic web portal for unconventional emergencies

The Semantic Web is the web of today. It puts semantic web documents on www and has become a universal medium for the exchange of information. But it suffers from lack of effective interfaces for end users hindering its wide adoption. A Semantic Web portal offers information access of a specific domain and uses the standard web technologies like HTML, XML, JSP etc. along with the semantic web technologies like OWL and RDF. BrowseUE is a semantic web portal that will bestow the features such as visualization, navigation, querying and search for any domain whose knowledge base is put into it. We have implemented the BrowseUE portal and system validation is done using actual ontological data.
