When an event occurs in real world the quickest way to obtain the latest news about the event is through social network, as people tend to share or update the information regarding the event among their friends and family. It has been noted that among several Social Networking Sites (SNSs) users prefer to rely more on Twitter for obtaining the latest information. In Twitter the restriction is applied to the word limit of the post where a user's post can contain only 140 characters. Since a microblog user can only post such much information in a single post it is not possible to obtain all the information about an event through a single post. A person has to go through a large amount of tweets/posts to obtain the all the information, which is both time consuming and tedious task. In this paper, a method is proposed that will obtain tweets about a particular event and form a summary containing all the facts related to the event also the user is given the ability to control the temporal granularity of the summary.
