The Internet of Things (IoT) is a computing hypothesis that describes a future where everyday objects will be connected to the Internet and other devices will be able to identify them. The idea is to connect various things through wireless and/or wired connections and individual addressing schemes and create an ubiquitous environment where a person can interact at any moment with the digital world as well as the physical world. It provides a platform for the interconnection of a plethora of smart objects. Despite the multifold benefits of Iot, one of the major challenges associated with it is the privacy of users due to the convergence of technology. With increased deployment of IoT devices in the real world there have been issues of malevolent attacks to compromise the security and privacy of the IoT devices. Privacy breaching attacks post considerable challenges in the development of IOT applications. There has been a dearth of methodical study of the security, privacy and trust issues. In this paper, we present a detailed analysis of IoT security constraints, requirements, trust and privacy and intend to the bridge the gap and guide the attention of researchers into catering to these major problems.
