The article considers an unconventional way of analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) of current signals conveyed by the sensors based on the application of the properties of the linear analog current adder (ACA). The authors give the main equations, the ACA circuitry as well as the results of its computer simulation which show that the k-valued code is output current signals of the ADC of the considered subclass. The results of the ACA synthesis confirming the efficiency of the generalization version considered in the article and the structural identity of the circuit solutions of the adders for different valuedness of logic are presented. It is shown that, providing the valuedness increases, the number of the simultaneously added numbers increases as well.
