Modelling Biological Vision is an important topic. By understanding the biological vision, we can then develop better computer vision methods in industrial scales. Since vision interacts with brain, an understanding of vision also helps us improve our knowledge about brain. A perfect knowledge of biological vision can also guide us to improve medical treatments of patients suffering from eye related illnesses.
