Optimal wavelength selection for entangled quantum key distribution

We study an entangled QKD system using photons at 780nm, 1550nm and 4μm from a SPDC nonlinear crystal, over a 30km maritime channel. An analysis of the channel at each wavelength is performed and the QKD system is simulated for each wavelength.
