Predicting political opinions in social networks with user embeddings
Ciprian Talmacel, Florin Leon · 2017
As social media becomes the prevalent way of expressing one's opinions, the capacity to analyze user behavioral patterns and trends becomes increasingly important. In this work we propose a method for embedding the opinions of social media users in low-dimensional vectors and explore some potential applications. Our proposal is general, in the sense that it can be easily adapted to a variety of use cases and social networks.
