Experiments in Teaching Introductory Programming Courses using PSI

A number of experiments in teaching introductory programming courses have been conducted by the author using a personalized system of instruction. Languages experimented with include FORTRAN, COBOL, and PL/I. The problems of procrastination and non-completion of course work were partly overcome by the author's unique solutions to these problems.
