Agent-based Modeling

Matthew J. Hoffmann · Palgrave Macmillan UK eBooks · 2008

This book on qualitative methods fills a significant gap in the international relations methods literature by avoiding the attempt to create or reify orthodoxy around a particular set of methodological tools. The book also addresses a second problem with the methods literature: the lack of serious discussion of the multiple methods of qualitative analysis, including a comparison of their kind of scholarship or knowledge production. Of course, given the goals and title of this book, one has to ask, Who let in the formal modeler? These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
