The RFID-based real-time monitoring system and the management algorithm of RFIDs

The RFID-based real-time monitoring system has become one of the most important system in the factory. As it can provide managers an easy way to monitor the product, the overall equipment effectiveness or even the condition of machines. However, many industries just import this system into their factories in recent years and have no idea how to manage this system. Hence, this paper reports on an approach for monitoring the manufacturing process of a factory by using RFID tags. As using RFID tags may meet the problem of reusing the tags, we also develop in this work a novel algorithm for managing RFIDs. Experiment results demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.
