ENGR 180 Introduction to MATLAB

This course provides an introduction to computation in the context of engineering and scientific problem solving.The fundamentals of computer programming such as loops, condition statements, and functions will be introduced utilizing MATLAB, a user-friendly language for engineers and scientists.The course is based on hands-on exercises, and examples from the world of science and engineering are given to increase general proficiency and capability in computer programming.User-defined functions and toolboxes within MATLAB to create computer programs will be introduced along with a brief introduction to Graphic User Interface (GUI). Course Objectives:a-Construct effective and error free functions and programs using MATLAB.b-Apply MATLAB programming to students projects of interest.c-Visual representation of data.
