The Internet of Things (IoT) is the large internetwork of physical devices that extends beyond the typical computer networks, which is generating Big-Data Streams at real-time. IoT consists of network connectivity of everyday objects that allow them to send and receive data. It requires real-time analytics of continuously incoming data from the smart-connected devices that will be further used in decision making or fault detection. This chapter prepares the reader with the awareness of Big-Data analytics and its role in IoT, ubiquitous data stream mining approaches for IoT analytics. Nowadays, ubiquitous computing environment is popular because of its ever-increasing computational power and capacity of wireless networking of the small devices such as sensor devices and smartphones. These ubiquitous devices play an important role in the various IoT applications such as healthcare, smart homes, intelligent transportation systems. It opens an opportunity to perform intelligent data analytics in ubiquitous computing environment. This chapter presents current progresses and challenges associated with data stream processing, methods for mining continuous high speed data streams in running application considering time, memory and resource constraints like battery power in the ubiquitous computing environment. Ubiquitous data stream mining applications such as health care, public safety, smart vehicles are presented, and their challenges in the IoT are discussed followed by the conclusion.
