The combination determining weights method of factors affecting software reliability

The evaluation method of factors affecting software reliability is based on the effect factors related to software reliability in each stage of software life cycle, by this method, an early prediction about the software reliability can be made. The selection of factors and its weights allocation are the keys to make the result reasonable. There are a lot of weighting methods, such as expert investigation method, literature comparative analysis, artificial neural network method and fuzzy weighting method, applied to the weights allocation of factors affecting software reliability evaluation. Now a combined weighting method based on the consensus degree is put forward to rationalize the result of weights allocation. This combined weighting method integrates subjective and objective information into weights allocation and takes advantages of different methods, so it can make the weighting result more accurate.
