Road Marking Recognition Based on Gaussian-Hermite Moment

Road marking recognition plays a vital role in driving assistance system, precisely detecting road marking is to safe driving. Moments are widely used in pattern recognition, In this paper, we proposea new method extract feature of road marking based on Gaussian-Hermite invariants moments(GHIMs). Following, different orders GHIMs features as a vector are transported to the BP neural net-work so that a trained classifier for recognition is established; experimental results show that the method shows good performance.
