Design a Virtual Private Network (VPN) Network Based on IPSec At PT. INNER CITY MANAGEMENT

EoIP (Ethernet over Internet Protocol) -based VPN (Virtual Private Network) implementation for site-to-site connections is still less secure. EoIP works by connecting different LAN networks over public networks using a media tunnel without encapsulation and encryption. This is not a good thing, given that the transmitted packet is important and confidential so that better security is required when transmitting the packet data. With IPSec, packet data transmissions can run more safely. This is due to the encapsulation and encryption of the packet data by using several protocols and algorithms inside. Unlike the case with EoIP that can only run on Mikrotik router devices, IPSec can run on many platforms such as Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper and so forth. On the VPN remote access side, IPSec also has a higher level of security when compared to PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol). This is because the protocols and security algorithms that run on IPSec that have a better level of securities.
