Information gathering from our surroundings in our absence is an important research topic in recent years. This issue is addressed by WSN(Wireless Sensor Networks) which are more reliable and eliminates the wired network. Sensors(Nodes) are becoming smaller in size and have less cost. These Nodes are powered by non-rechargeable batteries. Therefore Nodes must commission their work with unique initial strict energy budget. The small size nodes are inaccessible. So the routing protocols must ensure less energy consumption. Gathering information using stationary nodes is easy, but gathering information from mobile nodes is difficult. There are cluster based routing protocols like LEACH and PEGASIS which works great for stationary nodes. This paper applies PEGASIS protocol in Multi-Hop network for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks. The obtained results are compared with LEACH-M and LEACH-MAE protocol and found that the proposed protocol PEGASIS-MHM outperforms compared to other protocols. All the simulations are carried out in NS2.34 and results are obtained for different speeds of Mobile sensors.
