Project management tools-beyond the basics
Celia Desmond · IEEE Engineering Management Review · 2017
This is the third in a series of articles about tools for management of projects. In the first one I promised to discuss software tools. I will do that, but not in this article. The second one covered some very basic tools, which are frequently used by project managers. Here we will cover a few more of the tools listed in the initial article. These are also very commonly used tools, but not always employed by beginners or those handling fairly simple projects. It is worth considering their use, though, because they can help avoid some potentially serious problems, making progress much smoother. Let's take a look at: Risk Register, Stakeholder Register.
