Dynamic system simulation using an Analogue Computer

LR Hunt · New Zealand Engineering · 1970

The first section of this paper describes basic principles and compares analogue and digital systems; the second section illustrates the modelling of a dynamic system on the analogue computer; and the third section indicates how the analogue computer forms part of a hybrid system. Reference is made to the E.A.I. 580 analogue-hybrid computing system, as the writer has carried out studies on this machine. It has digital logic facilities available and is the most modern analogue computer in this country at present.
