The main task of collision detection is to study whether multiple objects in a virtual scene contact or penetrate and response in time. And it occupies a decisive position in the current computer research field such as graphics, computer simulation and robot path planning, etc. In this paper, a quick collision detection algorithm based on cloud computing model is proposed by studying some related computer technology and combining the collision detection algorithm among the basic geometric elements. The basic principle is to make full use of the advantages of the network resources and centralize the computer terminals of the unoccupied computer in network computing performance, to deal with the huge amount of computation in collision detection. This algorithm has no requirement on the number of space objects and has obvious advantages for the huge calculated amount encountered in complex scenes. It is suitable for collision detection of large scale complex scenes.
