On operation phenomena in networks with hub-rings

Hui Sun, Xaohui Zhang, Bing Yao · 2017

Ring-type networks contain hub-cycles and hub-blocks organized by hub-vertices of the networks. Some hub-vertices of a hub-cycle may union together, or some hub-vertices of a hub-block may be split into two or more hub-vertices. Such phenomena can be imitated by cycles and Euler's graphs of graph theory that is applied into today's network research extensively. We use two operations, named as the non-adjacent identifying operation and the 2-edge-connected 2-degree splitting operation, to deal with such phenomena appeared in networks around us.
