Traditional Market Change of Perception Analysis Through Society Network Analysis of Text

As traditional market begins to decline, public and private sectors are providing various supports to activate traditional markets. However, their effectiveness is very low. Therefore, this study seeks to grasp the semantic system and visualize the pattern and meaning by utilizing text data left on the web or SNS by visitors of the market. The analysis period was set from 2006 to 2007 and from 2014 to 2015 in order to examine trends in perceptions of traditional markets. Textom was utilized in order to collect data. NetDraw program was used to analyze data collected. As a result, in 2006 ~ 2007, there was a movement of design development to establish activation strategy in industry and economy in order to revitalize the traditional market. In 2,006 ~ 2,007, traditional market activation in the industry and overall economy were analyzed. These results could be used to understand the direction in 2,014 ~ 2,015 by utilizing culture and space to establish the revitalization strategy. Therefore, traditional market activation can be grasped through culture and contents of individual traditional market. This can be used to establish substantial promotion projects and strategies.
